A Clinical Study on Effectiveness of Amoxycillin in Patient with Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

Abstract
|
|
|
Amoxycillin, a new derivative of 6-amino penicillanic acid, was given orally to 27 patients with pelvic inflammatory disease. The result was excellent in 20 cases and fair in 4 cases, overall effective rate was 88.9%.
No side effects were observed except in 2 cases who developed indigestion but it was disappeared soon after discontinuing amoxycillin.
